The Hel Riders Festival isn’t just about beautiful cars and skateboarding, but above all, surfing. This year, we invite you to two days of surfing fun. There’s sure to be no shortage of surfing atmosphere and surfers from all over Poland. Join our Facebook event to stay up-to-date on everything happening in the surfing section at Hel Riders ’26. Let’s meet in Hel, on International Surfing and Skateboarding Day, to celebrate the most beautiful board sport in the world.
The surfing part of Hel Riders 26 is:
- Free surfing workshops with Hubert Stevnert from Don Coaching. One of the best coaches in Poland will improve your paddling technique. We’ll start with theory and dry-cleaning, followed by practice in the Baltic Sea – regardless of the waves, you can always practice! Remember to bring your wetsuit and board.
- It’s worth putting your new skills to the test. After a short break, the paddling competition will take place. Several rounds of racing between the stakes will determine the winners in the men’s and women’s categories. Everyone is welcome – even if you’re not competing, come and cheer on the others!
- Sunset Session holds a special place in every surfer’s heart. Surfing is a celebration worth celebrating. We all set sail for the Baltic Sea to pay homage to Poseidon and pray for a season full of good waves.
- Surf Travel in Poland is a stage of surfing that every surfer knows. Unfortunately, the Baltic Sea doesn’t wave as often as you’d like, so sometimes it’s worth heading to the ocean to hone your skills. At the festival, you’ll discover the best travel agencies in Poland that are worth traveling with.
- Dry Training – Free Surfskate Workshop. Once again, Hubert Stevnert will show you how to effectively practice surfing on land, applying his motto: “Train on land, perform on water.” Regardless of your experience, Hubert will show you how to ride a board better, which will ultimately translate into better surfing technique.
- The Great Surfboard Fair – looking for a board but not sure which one to choose? Do you have an old board you’d like to sell? Join us on Sunday at 1 PM at the Chałupy 6 campsite. You’ll find plenty of used boards, as well as new decks from Polish shapers like Loco, Lukashape, and Gdina. Accessories from FCS Polska will also be available. Whether you’re buying or selling, you have to be there. Even if it’s not to trade, it’s to high-five people who love surfing as much as you do.
