The Fifth Race in Hel. The anniversary edition of Hel Riders has gone down in history!
A mix of gasoline and salt water, a sea breeze, the roar of engines, and surfboards stuck in the sand, surrounded by skateboarders zooming past the 928 Surfari against the backdrop of the Baltic Sea. We’ve just wrapped up the 5th, absolutely epic edition of Hel Riders—the most action-packed installment in the festival’s history. From June 19 to 21, 2026, the Hel Peninsula became the capital of classic cars, skateboarding, and that pure surfing vibe. A wave of several thousand people swept through the Chałupy 6 campground, and 130 unique automotive works of art were parked on the event grounds.
This year, Porsche Polska ( for another year in a row) and Porsche Centrum Sopot joined our team as official partners. The star of the weekend was an absolute legend—the Porsche 550 Spyder, which arrived straight from the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. On Saturday night, SMOLIK | KEV FOXX with Weronika Drybs and the mysterious BOKKA crew rocked the stage, and Sunday’s spectacular Kaszëbë Surfari rally, culminating in a grand finale at Łeba Castle, brought this incredible weekend to a close.
Since its debut in 2022, Hel Riders has consistently redefined the concept of a summer festival on the Baltic coast. This year’s anniversary event broke all records—we set new records for attendance and the number of bikes. Once again, this event proved that a love for classics, waves, and seaside culture creates a unique tribe. People don’t come here for the dry details of the program. They come for the vibe that we create together.
Hel Riders is an event that’s hard to describe in numbers alone—its true heart lies in the people. Three days on the Peninsula showed us a community where a passion for classic Porsches, surfing, and skateboarding blends together in a completely natural way. The best proof? Friday evening, when the surfers headed out onto the Baltic Sea for a group paddle-out as the sun set. We’re proud that the brand was able to add a piece of its history to the mix in the form of the 550 Spyder.
The Holy Grail from Stuttgart: The 550 Spyder in the Porsche Zone
Right in the heart of the Porsche zone, the legendary 1954 Porsche 550 Spyder was flexing its muscles. It was the brand’s first production race car—a machine that, in ’54, brought the competition to its knees in the grueling, over 3,000-km Carrera Panamericana race in Mexico. It was in honor of this triumph that the word “Carrera” became a permanent part of the Porsche lexicon.
From the Carrera GT to the RUF SCR
130 registered cars at the campground—that’s our new record! We saw a veritable automotive universe: from the mighty Carrera GT from a Polish collection, to the 964 Turbo 3.6, the 964 RS, all the way to the monster RUF SCR and the iconic 356C, which Brock Keen drove to Hel straight from Spain. In the special Raceborn zone, all generations of the Porsche 911 GT3 stood side by side.
But the real rock ‘n’ roll was in the custom bikes and one-off designs:

- 928 Surfari by Tadeusz Elwart,
- Mateusz Klawiter’s 911T hot rod parked in the Type7 zone,
- Maciej Wajda’s 997 C4S “Mewa” – inspired by the iconic pink paint job of the 917/20 “Pink Pig.”
The contest for the best surfing-themed look was won by Jakub Rytel’s Cayman. The atmosphere was amped up by a Porsche Cayenne Electric with a DJ built into the trunk and Paweł Kalinowski’s brilliant “Ghost of Shinjuku” installation based on a Porsche 356.

As the sun began to set behind the horizon on Saturday, the campground shook with sound. After 9:00 p.m., the duo SMOLIK | KEV FOXX took the stage, backed by Weronika Drybs’s mesmerizing vocals. BOKKA also made a guest appearance.
Hel Riders Skate Contest
Saturday afternoon belonged to the skaters, who were flying over a ramp built… right on the beach. In the Best Trick AIR competition, Igor Sitarek took home the top prize (for a perfect aerial flip), finishing ahead of Filip Szalak and Filip Dziewięcki.
The real madness, however, began during the tricks on an obstacle mounted on… the roof rack of a Porsche 928 Surfari! Dima Tishenko proved unbeatable here with his nollie heel noseslide. Filip Szalak and, once again, Igor Sitarek also made it onto the podium. The Best Female award went to Weronika Choromańska, and the judges also handed out honorable mentions to Rysiek Sulima, Tomek Ziółkowski, Maciek Krk, and Jean Semaan.
Wingsuit, paddle-out, and the grand finale: Kaszëbë Surfari
We got off to a strong start on Friday in Władysławowo—at Lunapark Sowiński, we kicked off a private warm-up event for the media, creators, and car owners, featuring Poland’s top skateboarders.
In the evenings, we looked up in awe, marveling at the extreme jumps in wingsuits straight from a helicopter. An incredibly magical moment was Saturday evening’s paddle-out —dozens of surfers paddled out together on their boards into the Baltic Sea against a fiery sky. That’s the pure essence of Hel Riders.
On Sunday, it was time for an asphalt adventure—the Kaszëbë Surfari rally. Over 100 cars set off on a 150-kilometer, picturesque route through Kashubia. At 1:00 p.m., the vintage and classic cars set off, and two hours later, they were joined by modern cars (Future Classics). The final checkpoint and a big get-together took place at Łeba Castle.
For those who wanted to leave a lasting mark, the Hel Riders Shapers Club was there—it seems like just about everyone with gasoline in their blood and a love for waves in their heart signed the commemorative surfboard marking the 5th edition of the event.
